I was a victim of a street brawl & my brother in-law was mugged then beaten up! This gave me a push to think about self defence training just for peace of mind, Not being to fit & slightly over weight, only pound or two of course, I was concerned that I'd have to be some what fit to start any such class! How wrong I was! On my first class Sensei explained, "I only need turn up in an old T shirt & shorts or Track suit bottom with a willing to learn" I never looked back. I had always wanted to learn a martial art but couldn't decide on which to choose, after the initial few lessons I was so shocked by just how a simple combination of movement by me literally stopped an attack & allowed me to escape. Since starting my training I have gained a valuable insight into Ju Jitsu, loads of new friends & as a bonus physical fitness.
